I've also seen that there are at least two layouts for the ESP32-C3 supermini boards, with the other being more difficult to tell how to jumper it. The image below is of the board I received (with an external antenna not shown), and it is set to use the on-board chip antenna (circled in green). I'm sure I will find a cool use for this board, and to be honest, the chip antennas generally work pretty well, but for now I need one that uses the external antenna.

I need to use an ESP32-C3 board with an external antenna, but have found that the popular "supermini" boards are usually set up to use the on-board chip antenna by default. Even when I purchased the ESP32-c3 boards with an external antenna (as a kit), the boards were not set up to use the external antenna at all. It would be like attaching an ornamental antennal lol. This is because, although many of the ESP32-C3 supermini boards have an external antenna connector, it has to be jumpered in order for it to work. I think I may have found a seller who jumpers the external antenna, instead of the on-board chip antenna, so I've ordered a board from them to try.
