The FTDI adapter can be found over on Amazon or AliExpress. This adapter uses a genuine FT232 chipset so there shouldn't be any driver issues (hopefully). But more importantly, it has a switch for 5v or 3.3v logic levels. Many adapters skimp on this simple feature, and use a jumper to change the logic voltage, instead of a switch. A switch makes it handy for flashing ESP32's (3.3v) or Arduinos (5v). This adapter also has LEDs for power, TX and RX, which are visible though the case as well.
