My desk uses a Uplift 900 adjustable base, which has a channel created by the desk supports, however it is not very useful for cable management since there is no base. This design tries to turn that channel into a cable management tray. There are 2 versions of this model, one is has a solid base and the other has holes which go through the model to allow for more options if cables need to be weaved into the tray. I originally intended to use double sided tape to hold the tray to the sides of the frame, but the final design uses six 12x3mm magnets per side, and one of the set screws to hold it at one end (this is where the slot is located in the model). There is also a smaller model which does not have a screw, but can hold eight 12x3mm magnets, however I mounted mine using only four per side. The model also has some cable guides, and zip tie or Velcro wrap points, intended to help wrangle the cables that need to be supported. I have not tidied up the cables since I plan to replace the desktop in the near future. You can find it here.
