New Design for the HexLEDs is Ready, Just Need to Print It

It has been a tough week, landed in the hospital for a day but doing fine now.  I'm no doctor, but I'm pretty sure they gave me the equivalent of Brawndo in IV form.  I'm still optimistic I can get the new HexLED Panel design posted this week though.  I'm done with the design for the improved electronics module, which will incorporate a higher current switch and a higher current DC jack.  The new switch I found, is rated for AC 250V/6A 125V/10AV, and is larger than the old one so I had to re-work the design a bit.  It looks similar to these.  I had some of these larger switches around, so I'm not sure why I didn't see them the first time when doing the original design.  The new switch is AC rated, so I have to say again that it would be a use at your own risk sort'a thing, but finding a DC rated switch is like looking for hens teeth.  The max current in my setup is 4A (at 5V), since that is what my power supply is rated for, and there is a 5A fuse inline, so that is the hard limit, but the typical current is around 2A from what I measured recently.  The switch however is really not even necessary, since the power could be disconnected by unplugging it, so I may make a version that omits the switch altogether.

I'm printing the new parts now, and when it is ready I will post the updated files to thingiverse.

Update 5/14/2021 - Everything is ready to go, except that I need to rewrite the build log a bit and post everything to Thingiverse.  It's back up up on the wall and I ran it for several hours the other day and it seemed fine.  It has taken more time than I thought to re-work it, but that's typical, and I have more to do on the description but I hope to get it posted soon.

Update 5/28/2021 - It is posted back up on Thingiverse here with the changes.
