I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas ,Happy Hanukkah,Kwanza and Festivus! This is the time of year when you can count your blessings with family and friends, and set aside old problems. Life is too short to not have a good time and enjoy the season.
 Don't forget to thank your mail carrier this year, especially if you are an Amazon junkie like me :D
I admit that I have a smartphone and I find it useful, but I feel like they have invaded our lives much more deeply than we sometimes realize. Next time you have dinner with friends, keep a mental note of how long and how often phones come up. Maybe it is just because my friends are single, but I find it interesting how often our phones get discussed at dinner. I'd suspect that single people talk about their smartphones almost as much as married folks talk about their kids. Maybe somebody will come up with an app that will cry, poop, need braces, have homework and finally cost you your retirement savings to send to college, that would be something to talk about at the dinner table :D
