My plan right now is to prep and then upload a basic box design, followed by another that will have an insert, which screws into one or both halves of the box. The idea is that the insert can be customized, so the box can be used for different things. The first releases will probably include most of the parts to the right side of the pics, including the 3 compartment lid. After that, once the A1 parts are verified to fit, I plan to release the A1 tools bin insert and the top with the glue holder for the A1 spares design.
Since this is a good size for a small portable soldering kit, I'm planning to port an old design for a Pinecil case over to this, which will hold a battery bank, some tips and a USB-C cable spool for the red 1 meter silicon USB-C cable that Pine64 sells for the Pinecil. Also planned is adding a blank insert to the standard size box, and then the same for the other sizes as well. Currently (not including different heights), there are 4 sizes of cases, not including the mini shown above (a 2 Bin, 16 Bin, 20 Bin and 25 Bin box currently). The mini (shown in the pics above) will not be gridfinity-ized, since it doesn't fit either a 3x or 4x bin configuration (there would be a lot of wasted space).
There is no ETA on the insert mods for the existing designs, but I expect to get the mini Box for Stuff out in the next week or two, followed by either the A1 Spares box, or the Pinecil box.
Update 4/28/2024 - The basic Mini Box for Stuff is now uploaded on Printables. It will be the basis for several remixes, which are described above, and should be released soon.
